Scott became CEO of CITTA in 2023, succeeding the company’s founder during a planned leadership transition. Since that time, he has continued to build on CITTA’s mission to simplify the complexities of drawback for our clients. He is responsible for building an intentional, mission-driven culture; motivating employees through shared goals and clear purpose; and aligning incentives to drive personal and organizational success.
As CEO, Scott is committed to cultivating his team’s industry-leading expertise in duty drawback—the sole focus of CITTA today. Under his leadership, the company has deepened its technical capabilities, expanded its client base, and reimagined what a modern brokerage can deliver in an increasingly complex tariff environment.
Scott has an MBA from Harvard Business School and brings prior leadership experience during his time at Walmart and J.P. Morgan. Outside the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, especially while in the mountains biking, skiing or hiking.

A CITTAzen since 2023, Brett Cunningham leverages over 25 years of experience as a B2B business development and strategic-sales consultant. In his role at CITTA, he brings a strong track record of people-first growth performance, backed by deep expertise in sales management, territory design, and revenue optimization. He leads a team of marketing and sales professionals focused on simplifying the complexities of duty drawback and helping businesses of all sizes uncover revenue hidden in their supply chain.
Known for developing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, Brett’s clients consider him a trusted advisor in helping them achieve their personal and organizational business goals. He is especially skilled in creating repeatable, scalable, and profitable sales processes—always with a dedication to inspiring others and nurturing personal growth across his team.
Outside of work, Brett enjoys spending time with his family, working with youth groups, getting outdoors, and trying new foods.

Jade Christoper is a licensed customs broker (LCB) and certified customs specialist (CCS). Since joining CITTA in 2012, she has become an industry thought leader, sharing her expertise in duty drawback on dozens of webinars, at conferences, and in blogs.
She leads a team of dedicated drawback managers and client success managers tasked with maximizing drawback returns on behalf of their assigned clients through stakeholder onboarding, meticulous document review, rigorous data validation, and highly accurate claims submissions. She is passionate about customer success and brokering strong relationships with a wide variety of supply chain stakeholders including other customs brokerages, third-party exporters and importers, and contract manufacturers.
Jade loves animals, including a Raven named Cronk whom she trained for five years at the Ogden Nature Center, and her very active black lab mix, Shadow.

Role Overview
- Support and assist the senior onboarding manager in the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle for new duty drawback clients—from post-sale handoff through first claim readiness.

Key Responsibilities
Onboarding Execution & Coordination
- Support and assist onboarding workflows end-to-end, establishing clear milestones and deadlines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, import brokers, export brokers, and freight forwarders.

Data Collection & Validation
- Gather, validate, and organize all required documentation and trade data.

Risk Identification & Problem Solving

Process Management & Visibility
- Track onboarding progress in Asana and HubSpot for full visibility.

- Ensure a smooth transition to Operations once the first claim is filed.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding speed, accuracy, and scalability.

As the company grows, it is expanding its marketing function to increase brand visibility, strengthen digital presence, and generate qualified leads that support revenue growth.
Role Overview
CITTA Brokerage is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to support and execute the company’s marketing strategy across multiple channels. This position plays a key role in expanding the company’s digital presence, improving lead generation, and supporting sales pipeline development.
This role is well suited for a B2B marketing generalist with strong digital marketing capabilities who enjoys both strategy and hands-on execution. The person in this position will manage SEO initiatives, paid digital advertising, website optimization, marketing campaigns, marketing operations, and content programs. The role also supports account-based marketing initiatives and nurture campaigns designed to move prospects from Marketing Qualified Lead to Sales Accepted Lead.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Director of Marketing and sales team to execute programs that strengthen CITTA’s brand visibility, engage target accounts, and support revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing and Lead Generation
- Plan and execute digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels including search, paid advertising, email, social media, and website campaigns.
- Support lead generation programs that drive qualified inbound opportunities for the sales team and improve conversion from initial engagement through pipeline progression.
- Assist with account-based marketing programs designed to engage target companies, industries, and key decision makers using first-party and market intelligence data.
- Track performance metrics and optimize campaigns based on marketing analytics, conversion data, and lead quality.
Search Engine Optimization and Generative Search Visibility
- Manage search engine optimization initiatives designed to improve organic search visibility and website traffic.
- Monitor and optimize website content to perform well in both traditional search engines and emerging generative AI search environments.
- Identify keyword opportunities and develop SEO content strategies aligned with buyer search behavior and industry demand.
Paid Advertising, A/B Testing, and Campaign Execution
- Support planning and execution of paid advertising programs across Google, Bing, and LinkedIn.
- Run and evaluate A/B tests on ads, landing pages, social posts, and campaign messaging to improve click-through rates, engagement, and conversion performance.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust targeting, creative, messaging, and budgets to improve results.

Website Management and Content Strategy
- Recommend and execute best practices for high-performing and memorable account-based marketing campaigns.
- Maintain and update the company website using WordPress.

- Execute campaigns using gated high-value content marketing assets (e.g., white papers, checklists, guides, etc.,) that build awareness, educate prospects, and drive conversion.

Marketing Automation, Nurture Campaigns, and CRM Integration
- Support marketing programs using HubSpot and other automation tools.
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns and nurture programs designed to keep leads engaged and move them through the funnel toward sales conversations.
- Partner with sales and SDR resources as applicable to improve handoff quality, follow-up timing, and pipeline acceleration.
- Help maintain clean marketing data, campaign tracking, and reporting inside CRM and marketing systems.
Social Media and Digital Presence
- Support company social media presence including LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Publish and distribute content designed to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic among target audiences.
- Use testing and performance data to refine social content strategy and paid social execution.
Marketing Intelligence and Market Research
- Use market intelligence tools such as ZoomInfo and similar platforms to support prospect targeting, segmentation, and campaign development.

Marketing Operations and Support Activities
- Assist with coordination of industry events, webinars, and trade shows.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- Two to six years of marketing experience with strong digital marketing exposure.
