About CITTA Brokerage

CITTA Brokerage simplifies the complexities of drawback — helping importers and
exporters maximize the recovery of duties paid on imported goods that are
subsequently exported. We are looking for a detail-oriented Drawback Analyst to
lead the preparation, validation, and filing of drawback claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and validate import/export data received from clients and client
    partners, ensuring accuracy and completeness before claims processing.
  • Perform data entry and maintain detailed, accurate records across all drawback
    claim files.
  • Build and manage data pools by compiling and cross-referencing import entries,
    export documentation, and supporting records.
  • Prepare and file drawback claims with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP),
    following established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate and maintain proficiency in DutyCalc drawback software for claim
    preparation, data management, and filing.
  • Support Drawback Program Managers with documentation gathering, claim
    research, and ad hoc analysis as needed

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Revenue – measured by drawback recovery dollars generated for assigned client
    programs.
  • Task completion and hygiene — measured by on-time completion of assigned
    tasks and clean record-keeping in HubSpot and Asana.
  • Accuracy — error rate on filed claims; target near-zero rejection or correction
    rates from CBP.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and
    deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large dataset management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, duty drawback,
    data entry, or international logistics.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and
    drawback provisions (19 USC §1313).
  • Experience with DutyCalc or similar drawback/trade compliance software is a
    plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM and project management tools (HubSpot, Asana, or similar
    platforms).
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, international trade, business, or
    a related field preferred.
